In September 2015, 193 member states of the United Nations put forward a plan, called “Agenda 2030”, for achieving a better future for all. Over the next 15 years, it laid a path of ending extreme poverty, battling inequalities and injustice, and protecting our planet.
In 2022, the 15-year goals have reached halfway so 12 out of the 17 goals have been chosen for the 12 months (Please note that the goal number is at the beginning):
- 1 No poverty
- 2 Zero hunger
- 3 Good health and wellbeing
- 4 Quality education
- 5 Gender equality
- 6 Clean water and sanitation
- 7 Affordable and clean energy
- 8 Decent work and economic growth
- 11 Sustainable cities and communities
- 12 Responsible consumption and production
- 13 Climate action
- 17 Partnerships for the goals
