The City is Built Layer by Layer

The City is not built in a day. Each layer is created by people, by time, by movements, by politics. It develops, matures, ages sometimes becomes derelict and often reborn like Delhi. It is like a living organism.

There are many views regarding the origin of the first city. Each city has a story to tell, some started as Ziggurats, some as military headquarters, some as the capital city, some as port city……

The city today is often seen as necessary evil but it was associated with civilisation from the beginning.
