Normally we define fossil as preserved remains or traces of animals or plants that lived in the geologic past. It is originated from the term fossilis; literally meaning “obtained by digging”. But today in my class we were discussing fossil Landforms. The use of the term amused us and so done some research and found different usage of the term .Not only landform but a person can also be a Fossil!!! And behold fossils are found in language also.
