BArch course from any of the recognized colleges in India is of 5-year duration and comprises of ten semesters. The students are required to individually check the admission process of each institute as there is no common counselling procedure for admission. In order to be eligible for the same, a candidate should have
- Completed their 10th and 12th examination, with English and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and should have scored above 50% marks in the examination.
- A 10th completion certificate along with a 3 year diploma.

Andhra University is a public university located in Visakhapatnam. It was established in 1926 under the Madras University Act. The college of engineering alone offers a variety of 80 courses. The university has a fee structure of INR 44,000 for a five year, full time course in Architecture.
- Sir JJ College of Architecture, Mumbai
Sir Jamsetjee Jeejebhoy School of Art is considered to be the oldest art institute in Mumbai. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The fee for the five year BArch program totals to a sum of INR 47,740.
- Chandigarh College of Architecture, Chandigarh
The Chandigarh College of Architecture specializes in research and education in the field of architecture. The college has a yearly enrollment of 200 students. It was established in the year 1961 to impart education in architecture. The college has a fee structure of INR 48,585 for the five year course.
