In 1980, William H. Whyte wrote a book about the importance and influence of urban spaces in the production of human satisfaction, defining some principles that those spaces should accomplish in order to ensure their success. This book was named “The Social Life of Small Urban Spaces”. This research triggered some changes in the way to develop planning and urban design. During the production of this book, a film was recorded and this video is part of that.
