World’s most elusive bird sighted?

John Young says that he’s seen the incredibly elusive night parrot, and he has the video and feathers to prove it. The Western Australia Museum is doing DNA testing of material taken from the feathers he found at the side of the road near the parrots, and if they prove to be from the “extremely secretive” species, it could be what Australian Birdlife Magazine editor Sean Dooley describes as “the world bird-watching equivalent of finding Elvis flipping burgers in an outback road house.”
