Hi Rashid, I have visited Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam on several occasions. I drove the complete circuit of the reservoir in the early 2000s when water levels were already falling from excess demands on supply and recharging declines from the overused Colorado River. For the City of Las Vegas, the fastest growing urban centre in the U.S., and California and Arizona sites, Lake Mead freshwater dependence is critical. Every year I visit the website that notes Lake Mead water levels, and wonder for how much longer, it will meet the needs of so many in an area where climate change is having such a profound impact.
