Gold and Silver Leaf Varak or Vark (leaf) Work Near Charminar, Hyderabad

it was a tradition in South Asia to cover sweets by Gold or Silver leaf. It still is, but not as prevalent as it once was. We encountered people meticulously working on it near Charminar area of Hyderabad.
